About Pratichi Mathur

An Ayurveda pioneer, master healer, teacher, and published author, Pratichi hails from a lineage of Vedanta sages in India. A life-long healer, she began her apprenticeship at the age of nine. She is the Founder and Spiritual Director of the nonprofit Vedika Global Foundation, Director of the California Association of Ayurvedic Medicine, and leads Ayurvedic workshops and retreats throughout the United States and India.

Pratichi Mathur is known for her unique way of expressing Ayurveda in conjunction with Advaita Vedanta and Yoga. Pratichi's teachings revolve around the theme of Self and reclaiming health by reclaiming connection with our inner Self.

Pratichi has established in Berkeley California -Vedika Global, a Spiritual Foundation dedicated to Elevating Consciousness, Building Community and Serving Humanity through global Illumination, Promotion and Application of Vedic Indian Spiritual traditions.

Through the foundation, Pratichi directs a traditional Vedic Gurukula in Berkely, conducts weekly Sat Sanghas and leads humanitarian outreach efforts through the application of Vedic spirituality and healing via Yoga and Ayurveda.

Pratichi is also President Ganesha Institute for Ayurveda and Vedic Studies in Pleasant Hill, California and is on the Advisory Board of Sadharan Dharma Sabha in New Delhi, India; Yoga Bharati in California and Tathaastu Magazine in New Jersey. Pratichi has been featured, in the San Francisco Chronicle, Tathaastu Magazine, Yoga Journal and other leading magazines and is keynote speaker and teacher at various Ayurveda, Yoga and Vedic conventions worldwide.
