Haridwar / Rishikesh

Arrive at Haridwar at 02.10 Hrs. Leave for Rishikesh by surface (30 minutes drive). Reach Rishikesh and transfer to hotel: Overnight at Hotel Vasundhara Palace or similar. Spend the day at leisure till noon. In the afternoon, visit Parmarth Ashram, Gita Ashram & Sivananda Ashram. Experience evening Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Ashram.

Rishikesh

Rishikesh is situated on the right bank of river Ganga and is surrounded on threesides by the Himalayan ranges. It is a great pilgrimage center of India, attracting a large number of pilgrims.

Rishikesh has since been the abode of saints and sages for the last several thousand years. Fromhere, seekers begin a journey into the unknown and rest a while before they embark on the arduous path through the Himalayas.

The other sacred sites to visit are Rishikund, Raghunath Temples, Triveni Ghat, BharatTempleand Laxman Jhoola.

After breakfast on the 3rd morning, visit Vashisht Cave, an ancient holy cave formeditation. In the afternoon, visit Tat Wala Baba’scave and personal meting with Taat Wala Baba (subject to availability). Evening is free to explore the local market.
