After breakfast in Rishikesh, leave for Haridwar by surface (30 min drive). Visit various ashrams and temples followed by Rickshaw Ride in the narrow crowdedlanes of Haridwar.

Haridwar, is also known as "Gateway to God", because, it is here that the Ganges enters the plains, This is why it is a pilgrimage site.

Though the Ganges does not lose its rapids completely, nevertheless it becomes very quite and calm here. The water is clean and people love a dip in the holy Ganges utilizing the numerous ghats (steps leading to the rover) built on the river shores.

It is believed that taking a dip in the Ganges purifies the soul and opens the way for the ultimate freedom, Nirvana. It is also fun and an exhilarating experience to enter the water amongst chants and festive rituals of the devotees. The Ganges is a Goddess, blessing all with her abundance, life giving water and boon of wish fulfillment.

Later, board Shatabdi Express Train for Delhi at 18.10 Hr22.50 Hrs. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel:The City Park or similar.
